Though I'm not one of those that think you can have it all at the same time, having internet access at home made it possible for me to work part-time (telecommute) and stay invovled in my career while not interrupting the flow of life for my school-aged kids. I imagine this would go for those women who have a passion for art as well. Online communities and online seminars, a webpage to get their art "out there" - it's all good.
